Here’s a roundup of a few of the latest links on religious life:
- UISG has published its latest Bulletin, which features an overview of the 2025 Plenary and features a table of contents of talks given on religious life.
- UISG and USG announced a joint commission on formation and held their first meeting on July 9. They identified a number of priorities:
- Promote a global perspective and approach to formation in Consecrated Life
- Map and facilitate access to existing formation resources
- Promote inter-congregational relationships and dialogue
- Foster networks for formation, creating new ones or strengthening those already in place
- Develop a mailing list for ongoing communication
- At their General Chapter, the male branch of the Order of Preachers released a study document on the role of co-operator brothers (i.e., non-ordained religious) in the Order of Preachers. It focused on the implications of brotherhood in the order and as part of the wider Church and how the brothers help the Dominican family live out their charism and mission.
