We are honored to have His Eminence Michael Cardinal Czerny, SJ, as an author in the new Review for Religious. His insightful study of “Religious Life from Vatican  II to Fratelli Tutti” was developed from a presentation the Cardinal delivered to men and women religious from the United States, Canada, and other nations on January 21, 2021.

Cardinal Czerny outlines a history of magisterial teaching on consecrated religious life from Vatican II to Fratelli Tutti. He goes on to draw on the teaching of Pope Francis on consecrated religious life and brings the themes of Fratelli Tutti into dialogue with that teaching to provide new insight about religious life.
